Dear Zoom8 sailors!

Association of Laser and Zoom8 Classes of Estonia together with the International Zoom8 Classes Association invites all junior Zoom8 sailors to take part in Zoom8 European Championships for Juniors in Tallinn during July 24 to July 29, 2006, in Pirita Olympic Yachting Centre.

Estonia has been the venue for big sailing regattas throughout years. Estonia hosted the 1980 Olympic Regatta, the Junior 470 World Championships in 1998, the European 470 Championships in 2002 and the Junior European 470 Championships in 2005.

Zoom8 class world championships have been held since 2001 and Estonian Zoom8 sailors have been a solid part of the championships history.

Tallinn Olympic Yachting Centre was specifically designed for sailors, thus offering an excellent basis for successful organization of the regatta. The Yachting Centre caters for the service needs of sailors on shore and at sea. The competition site is conveniently close - only 1-1.5 miles from the yachting harbour.

We believe that the young Zoom8 sailors will find all the opportunities for maximum performance and enthusiastic spirit in Tallinn.
